Lunch... Indian Railways

It was an annual affair in school/college days to visit home travelling day or more in trains. The lunch in trains would be served in rectangular steel plates with a steel cover, which could act as another plate if sharing and we could manage to eat comfortable.

Times have changed, travelled to Kanyakumari from Bangalore by train, the lunch is served in casserole made of aluminium foil, with two smaller containers for sambhar and curd, the curry is in the large container along with rice. Mighty inconvenient to eat, should remember to carry own plates if travelling by train and plan to eat lunch.

The lunch was fairly good, which made it more frustrating.
