I underwent a surgery on Sat, 22-Apr-06 for a fractured and dislocated right middle finger top. Will update once my hand is better.

How I got injured?

First treatment post injury.

First diaognosis by an ortho.

Email etiquette - forwarding to many

How to forward to many.

It is not a good practice to expose e-mail addresses of your contacts. If forwarding a mail to lot of persons, use blind carbon copy, BCC instead of To and CC address.

Click on Add BCC, this screen appears.

Addresses entered in BCC is not visible to others receiving the mail.

Address the mail to yourself and add all others persons address in the BCC.

If the message to forward has addresses in the message area, use the forward as inline text and edit the e-mail addresses, instead of forwarding as attachment. Another blog explains how.

Email - forwarding inline

If the message to forward has addresses in the message area, use the forward As Inline Text (and not As Attachment) , this will allow editing out unwanted content, including long list of e-mail addresses. See the Pic3 below.

Click on the arrow in the Forward button, two options appear, chose As Inline Text. This will display message being forwarded in the compose window.

The message to be forwarded shows up, see Pic4 below, edit out all the unwanted content including long list of e-mail addresseses.

If the formatting bar pointed by red arrow, in above Pic 4, is not visible and pictures are present in mail, editing will not be possible. Use Options to enable Compose messages as color and graphics.

How to enable pictures inline

Locate the Options link on the right hand side of the screen, when you are in Yahoo mail. Click on Options link.

The following screen shows up.

Click on General Preferences and this screen appears.

Select Compose messages as color and graphics radio button and Save Options. Now forwarded messages can be edited.
